Johnson collecting data from the instrument collecting%20ksat%20data.jpghe invented and sells, The Johnson Permeameter.  It measures the hydraulic conductivity of  soils, referred to as "Ksats".     When used properly, the information that can be obtained from the permemeter is extremely valuable in generating reliable empirical data regarding the characterisitics of water movement through the soil.  This was a project we worked on in Louisa County, Virginia.
